Biblical Manhood

Our men are helping and serving in:

 A) Passionate Worship - alter stewards, ambassadors for Christ, communion stewards, sanctuary ushers, audio & visual technicians, greeters, welcome center hosts, musicians, sanctuary choir members

 B) Intentional Discipleship - help with mailings, visitation teams, teaching Sunday School, teaching Wednesday evenings, help with local mission projects, help with special events, help with JOY programs, minister to area seniors, Wednesday evening programs, receptions and socials, prayer and worship events, small group bible studies

 C) Salty Service - short-term missions, editors and writers, photographers, office volunteer, building and grounds, church administration committees, share-a-ride

 D) Radical Hospitality - Celebrate Recovery, help with healing services, prayer chain, hospital visitor

 E) Mission and Community - blood donor, Habijax, prison ministry, Sulzbacher volunteer, Volunteers in Medicine, Family Promise, Boy Scouts, Mission Vital Signs

We need more leaders to help us in our Call To Biblical Manhood.

 Why?

  • Too many men are cultural Christians, not biblical Christians. The collateral damage in families is staggering.
  • Many churches have not been able to figure out how to engage these men in a successful discipleship process.

What we will do at FUMC:

  • Minister to the most deeply felt needs of our men
  • Equip them to understand who God created them to be
  • Train them as Godly men, husbands, fathers, and sons
  • Infuse them with the confidence and courage they need to complete their mission
